I tweeted. They tweeted. Now it’s your turn to tell the Burgerville Nomad where you’d like to see it visit Tacoma.

The Burgerville folks told me in October that the Vancouver-based burger chain had no plans to open a store in South Sound, despite what Burgerville’s CEO previously told former TNT Business Columnist Dan Voelpel last February. However, a corporate spokeswoman said in October that Burgerville was considering bringing its mobile burger truck to Tacoma for a visit. So we’ve been waiting, but there’s been no word on that. It’s been three months. I e-mailed. No response. So to Twitter I turned….

My tweet: tntdiner @BurgervilleUSA When is the nomad coming to Tacoma? Reply tweet, pretty please.

BurgervilleUSA’s tweet: @tntdiner Hi! We’re looking into events in the Tacoma area in hopes of coming up there soon. If U know of any good ones, please let us know!

Translation: If you want the Burgerville Nomad to roll into town, please comment here, or e-mail suggestions to nomad@burgerville.com.

Do they mean events like the Taste of Tacoma? A big Dome event? I’ve asked for clarification. In the meantime, if you can think of any events for which the Burgerville Nomad would seem perfect, please comment here.
