It’s been long delayed, but there’s a sign up saying that cupcakes are coming to 2510 N. Proctor at Sweet Things Cupcakes & Couture. The sign says they open Sept. 12. The last time I chatted with the owners for this blog post, they were anticipating they would open Sweet Things in early June.

For cupcake thought: A locally owned business is a good thing, but the opening of another cupcake shop begs this question posed here. Has cupcake critical mass been hit?

My $.02: How about another banh mi sandwich shop. I could really use one of those.
