Soliciting second-bite suspects

Ed,

What is the most current review of the Blue Olive in Tacoma?

Thanks

That e-mail from a reader was in my in-box this morning. I Googled to find out: Nov. 12, 2004.

I’ve written about Blue Olive a few times since then, in round-ups on martini bars, happy-hour haunts, downtown restaurants and romantic restaurants.

But I haven’t written a full review of Blue Olive since Nov. 12, 2004.

Blue Olive is on my list of second-bite suspects – restaurants I’ve previously reviewed and which are due for follow-ups. In January, I re-reviewed Il Fiasco, nearly a year and a half after I first reviewed it.

I have no particular agenda or order for re-reviewing restaurants. Some may have changed owners and chefs. Some may have changed menus. Some may have improved.

Here are some second-bite suspects I found written on a wadded-up napkin in my sports coat:

Brix 25. Indochine. Pacific Grill. Terracciano’s. Blue Olive. Varsity Grill.

Here’s my archive of restaurant reviews. Here’s my simmering question: Which restaurants do you want to see re-reviewed and why?
