Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks to bring Heart & Soul tour to Seattle

Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks will bring their Heart & Soul tour to Seattle’s KeyArena on April 23, promoter AEG Worldwide announced today. Their tour will kick off in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on March 20. Stewart will be out in support of his hits collection “The Best of … The Great American Songbook” while Nicks will preview material from her forthcoming “In: Your Dreams” CD, which is due on May 3.

Tickets for the Seattle show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 28 with prices ranging from $92

Keith Urban’s Get Closer Tour headed to Seattle

Keith Urban will take his Get Closer 2011 Tour to Seattle. The Aussie singer – known for “Days Gone By,” “You’ll Think of Me” and other hits – will headline KeyArena on Sept. 29. Tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. on Feb. 18.

Urban previously stopped at the Gorge Amphitheatre last year and at the Tacoma Dome in September 2009. Click here for links to audio from our interview that preceded the Tacoma stop.

Puyallup Fair announces Chicago as first act of 2011, ditches Ticketmaster

Chicago will headline the Puyallup Fair & Events Center grandstand on Sept. 13, the first act to be announced for this year’s Puyallup Fair. The band – known for “Make Me Smile,” “Saturday in the Park” and other hits – will perform with the Tacoma Symphony with a scheduled 7:30 p.m. start time.

Tickets are $30 to $60 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 19. But they won’t go on sale through Ticketmaster. Instead, fans will be able to purchase them online at
www.thefair.com/concerts.

Sugarland tickets on sale Friday

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush – the award winning country duo that’s better known as Sugarland – will bring their Incredible Machine Tour to Comcast Arena in Everett on July 18, their only Northwest stop this year. Tickets prices will range from $35 to $82, and they will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Comcast Arena announced last week.

Fleet Foxes, Devo headed to Moore Theatre

Seattle’s Fleet Foxes will headline Seattle’s Moore Theatre on May 3, STG Presents announced. That’s the same day the critically acclaimed alt-country band’s sophomore album “Helplessness Blues” is scheduled to hit record stores. Tickets for that show are $33 and Tickets.com will sell them beginning 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.

STG Presents also announced the on-sale date for post-punk legends Devo’s March 15 date at the Moore. Tickets are $38 to $100, and they’ll go on sale through Tickets.com starting 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5.

Foo Fighters to headline at expanded Sasquatch! in 2011

An extra day has been added to the Sasquatch! Music Festival, which will take place from May 27 to 30 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George in 2011. And Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters will headline on May 27, Live Nation announced this morning.

A special, discounted four-day festival pass will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20. However, the full festival lineup won’t be announced until Feb. Feel lucky? Find ticket details here.

The Decemberists will preview new song on ‘Conan,’ play Seattle in 2011

Portland’s Decemberists are headed back to Seattle early next year. The experimental pop-rock outfit will headline the Paramount Theatre on Feb. 18, 2011, Capitol Records announced.

My Chemical Romance announces tour dates

Seattle will get one of the early dates on My Chemical Romance’s forthcoming World Contamination tour, the band announced today. The emo-pop band will headline Showbox SoDo on April 3, 2011, in support of its new album “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys,” which Reprise will issue on Nov. 22.
