Rammstein headed to the Tacoma Dome

German art-metal Rammstein will headline the Tacoma Dome on May 15, Live Nation announced today. The band – known for its theatrical style and vocalist Till Lindemann sometimes performing while engulfed in flame – will launch its nine-stop North American tour on May 5 in New York. Tickets for the Tacoma show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 26, but prices were not yet made available.

Maroon 5 headed to Tacoma Dome

Maroon 5 is headed to the Tacoma Dome. The Grammy Award winning pop band – best known for “This Love,” “Harder to Breathe” and other hits – will headline at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 12, with support from OneRepublic and Bruno Mars, Live Nation announced today.

Van Morrison headed to the Gorge

The Belfast Cowboy, Van Morrison, will headline the Gorge Amphitheatre on Aug. 8, Live Nation announced.

Tickets to see the Irish singer-songwriter – known for karaoke classic “Brown Eyed Girl,” among other hits – will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 28. They’ll cost $50 to $200, and you’ll be able to find them here.

Get tickets to see Korn, Rob Zombie and more on Mayhem Tour starting Friday

Live Nation also released ticket info for the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, which will bring Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God and more to the White River Amphitheatre on July 31. Tickets will cost $31 to $55.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 16. Click here for more details.

Rush to deliver “Moving Pictures” live at White River Amphitheatre

Canadian prog-rock trio Rush will return to the White River Amphitheatre with its new Time Machine Tour on Aug. 7, Live Nation announced today. And following a trend that’s become popular with veteran rock acts, Rush will deliver one of its classic albums in its entirety – namely, “Moving Pictures” from 1981.

Rihanna, Ke$ha to kick off tour in Auburn

Pop superstar Rihanna will launch her Last Girl on Earth tour at Auburn’s White River Amphitheatre on July 2, Live Nation announced today. Rihanna, who’s hit “Rude Boy” is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, has tapped up-and-coming performers Ke$ha (“Tik Tok,” “Your Love Is My Drug”) and Nicki Minaj (“I Get Crazy”) for support.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10. Prices are not yet available.

Warped tour bringing Andrew W.K., Motion City Soundtrack, more to the Gorge

Live Nation has released details for the Vans Warped Tour, which will bring Andrew W.K., Motion City Soundtrack, Sum 41, the Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, the Pretty Reckless, Pierce the Veil and an army of other bands to the Gorge Amphitheatre on August 14.

Crosby, Stills & Nash headed to Chateau Ste. Michelle

Some of you caught Crosby, Stills & Nash at last year’s Puyallup Fair. And now you can catch the legendary folk trio again at 7 p.m. on June 12 when it headlines the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery in Woodinville.

Tickets will go for $50.50 to $80.50 and go on sale Friday, April 2 at 10 a.m., Live Nation announced today. You’ll be able to get them here, and you can revisit last year’s show here.

Sting, Iron Maiden to return to White River Amphitheatre this summer

International pop star and former Police man Sting will deliver his big hits accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra on June 6 at Auburn’s White River Amphitheatre, Live Nation announced today. The orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Steven Mercurio (Pavarotti, Bocelli).

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 22, and they will be available through Ticketmaster. Today’s announcement did not include prices.

Sting last dropped in on White River in 2004 with fellow hit maker Annie Lennox. But he’s not the only big shot returning to White River this summer.

Sasquatch! 2010 acts to be announced at Croc on Monday

Yesterday, Live Nation and festival booking agent Adam Zacks announced details for the Sasquatch! Music Festival launch party, which will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle.

From the release:

For the first time in the festival’s history the lineup will be announced LIVE at this very special event featuring performances by Surfer Blood, Atlas Sound and Fresh Espresso and hosted by Luke Burbank. Prize packages from Esurance and Xbox will be given away all night long, along with limited-edition festival posters and more.
