John Mayer, Keith Urban to co-headline the Gorge

Pop star and recently infamous n-bomb dropper John Mayer will team up with country superstar Keith Urban for a special “CMT Crossroads” show at the Gorge in Grant County on Aug. 28, organizers announced this week. The Avett Brothers will open the show, wh.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on May 8th. Find pre-sale info here.

Before the concert, fans will be able to catch the duo on “CMT Crossroads: John Mayer and Keith Urban,” which was taped before an invitation-only audience earlier this year.

I’d scheduled an interview with musician and activist Michael Franti well before I’d read about tour mate John Mayer’s racially inflammatory remarks in Playboy and subsequent apologies. Click here for video of Mayer apologizing on stage in Nashville.
