Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube united and headed to Paramount Theatre

Gangsta rap vets Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube are teaming up for the How the West Was One Tour, which will drop in on Seattleā€™s Paramount Theatre on July 14, Seattle Theatre Group announced. Tickets will be $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 19.

Cube was also scheduled to appear at White River Amphitheatre on Aug. 15 with Limp Bizkit, but that show has been canceled. (Say, didn’t Limp Bizkit’s last album go wood? Maybe that had something to do with it.)

What? Ice T with … Tacoma Symphony Orchestra?

Remember my post from a couple of weeks ago about Broadway Center’s survey on who they should book for next season – Margaret Cho, Ozomatli and Ralph Stanley being among the more intriguing possibilities?

Well, I don’t know if I just missed this as I was clicking through the survey (which you can take here
) but organizers are apparently considering a show pairing Ice T and Tacoma Symphony Orchestra.

Yes, the gangsta rapper, “Law & Order,” guy who played a kangaroo dude in “Tank Girl” Ice T. With Tacoma Symphony Orchestra.
