Grammys: What was that, Jamie Foxx?

Hey, it’s opera for a change of pace. No, wait! It’s Jamie Foxx in some weird Civil War getup doing his Auto-Tune powered club smash, “Blame It.” Then Doug E. Fresh shows up! And there’s T-Pain! Say, what’s Slash doing up there … playing his guitar solo from “November Rain?” Um, that fits. I’m so confused now that I can’t decide whether that was awesomely ridiculous or just awful and bloated.

Man, you guys are harsh! When TRC blog asked which album should take album of the year at tonight’s Grammys, 42 percent of you said “none of the above.”

Three guesses where Dave Matthews is playing this summer

Dave Matthews Band has released summer tour dates. Not that local fans didn’t already have Sept. 3, 4 and 5 marked on their calendars. That’s when the DMB will return to the Gorge Amphitheatre for their annual Labor Day weekend shows.

Less predictable are Matthews’ opening acts. It’s Ben Harper and Relentless7 at the Gorge, with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Raphael Saadiq, Brett Dennen, Gov’t Mule, Zac Brown Band, Amos Lee Band and the Felice Brothers opening in other markets.

Presale tickets will be available beginning 3 p.m.
