Katy Perry will headline Seattle’s KeyArena on July 20. The pop star – best known for hits “I Kissed a Girl,” “Waking Up in Vegas” and “California Gurls” – announced the North American leg of her California Dreams tour, which kicks off on June 7 in Atlanta, today on Facebook.
Ticket prices are not yet available, but Ticketmaster will begin selling them at 10 a.m. on Jan. 29.
Social media networks Facebook and Twitter will play a big part in the tour, according to a press release issued by Perry’s label, EMI Music. Fans will be able to use Facebook Places/Deals to get “special treats” at each venue, and photos that fans tweet will be incorporated into each performance, the release said.
A week before her world tour launch in Lisbon, Portugal, Perry will perform on the 53rd Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast on Channel 7 at 8 p.m. on Feb. 13. Perry has been nominated in six categories including album of the year, best pop album, best female pop vocal performance and best pop collaboration with vocals.
