It appears Gary Grape of the South Sound Blues Association will handle most of the booking down at the new Rhythm & Brews club downtown, which tells you what the musical focus will be. Hey, can’t make any assumptions just based on the name (see also: Jazzbones and Sax.) And along with this weekend’s grand opening festivities, here are a few more shows Grape has lined up for this month.

Oct. 8: Little Bill and the Bluenotes
Oct. 9: Billy Roy Danger and the Rectifiers
Oct. 15: The Trevelyan Triangle
Oct. 16: The Michal Miller Band
Oct. 22: T-Town Aces
Oct. 23: Chester Dennis Jones Band
Oct. 29: Paul Green and Straight Shot
Oct. 30: Tim Hall Band

Great line up! I’ll definitely be there to check out Junkyard Jane’s front man with his side project, Billy Roy Danger and the Rectifiers. If you haven’t heard them yet, definitely drop by. They’ll keep you dancing all night!
