Disc jockey Spencer “The Walrus” Abersold will attempt to break the world record for most consecutive hours on the radio starting at noon Friday to raise awareness and funds for his station, KGHP-FM, which broadcasts out of Gig Harbor’s Peninsula High School. Legend of Bigfoot, Midnight Salvage Co., Ten Miles of Bad Road, Big Wheel Stunt Show and other local bands will add support with in studio performances most nights. You’ll be able to listen live on the station’s web site if you live too far away to get the signal.

Meanwhile, you can click this link to hear part of the interview the Walrus did with TRC this week.
