Pearl Jam may be taking some time off, but not guitarist Stone Gossard. He’s about to drop a new CD called “Best Friends?” with his other band Brad, which also features Shawn Smith, Regan Hagar and Mike Berg.

To celebrate the album’s Aug. 10 release, Brad will play a couple of CD release parties on Aug. 10 at the High Dive and Aug. 12 at Easy Street Records’ Queen Anne location in Seattle. Tickets for the High Dive show are $15 each, and you can find details here. The Easy Street in store will start at 7 p.m. and is free, but admission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
