Pink emerges looking angelic in a white shroud then strips down to sheer, see-through tights – rawr – for the acrobatic portion of “Glitter in the Air.” She’s over the crowd, dunked in a pool of water and spins, splashing the crowd below with Pink juice, captivating as she finishes her pretty ballad. Very dramatic and elegant, and I’m sorry I missed a chance to see that in person last year at KeyArena last.
Zac Brown Band takes best new artist. As I posted the other day, they’re headed to Everett’s Comcast Arena in March.
And whoops! Don’t think the dump button got all of Fergie’s raunchy lyrics Black Eyed Peas set. Guess she forgot she was supposed to do the radio version. And is it just me or is the Peas’ Auto-Tune a little off.
The trio’s funky cyberpunk motif is pretty cool, though, with the metallic masks and all the dancing “robots.” I’m not a huge Peas fan, but based on this performance and the addition of Ludacris as opening act on their tour, I’m actually kinda sorta excited about their stop at the T-Dome in April.
