On Nov. 23, the Washington State Liquor Board received a liquor license application for Rhythm & Brews, a nightclub that seems to be on the way to 933 Market St., in Tacoma. [Corrected from a previous version of this post. The application has not yet been approved.]

If that address sounds familiar, that’s the former location of the short-lived South Sound Garage and Juno venues. Chris Wallis, who owned the South Sound Garage, is listed as owner on the application, but could not be reached for comment on what he’s doing as of this post. Stay tuned.
