The Washington State Fair has received more than 500 entries so far in a contest to name its new roller coaster, according to a fair press release.
The new ride, which debuts this fall at the annual event Sept. 6-22, is a looping inversion coaster that reaches about +5.8 gravity force. That is comparable to a Formula One racing car, the release says.
The naming contest is open through midnight May 8, and anyone 13 and older can enter. The person who coins the moniker will win two season gate passes for the Washington State Fair and two vouchers valid …
