		<description><![CDATA[<p>Northwest Trek will reopen Friday after volunteers and staff spent weeks cleaning up debris and repairing damage from a series of January storms.</p> <p>The park was last open to the public Jan. 13-15. In the following days, snow and ice hammered the Eatonville-area park. Sixty mph wind gusts and pounding rain followed.&#160; The park lost power for five days.</p> <p>The storms weighed down branches and thousands of the limbs &#8211; some as heavy as 200 to 300 pounds &#8211; broke off.</p> <p>Several exhibits were severely damaged.
