Lottery winner plans dream vacation
A grandfather from the city of Pacific is a Mega Millions ticket winner, according to a Washington State Lottery Commission press release:
Had Joseph Washington of Pacific known that he was carrying around a Mega Millions ticket worth a quarter of a million dollars, he probably would have cashed it in sooner.
Monday, a week after the purchase of the winning ticket, Joseph claimed his $250,000 at the Lottery’s regional office in Federal Way.
On his way out with friends, Joseph grabbed the six one-dollar tickets he’d bought last week, planning to stop somewhere to check if he‘d won anything. …
