The modest storefront center, perhaps too small to carry the title museum, was a cool little space with always changing exhibits on Tacoma history. While small it was the only answer when visitors asked if there was a place in town dedicated Tacoma history.

The exhibits usually were curated by volunteer members of the society. Two favorites were the collection of postcards and the display on Tacoma’s original auto row, located …
