E. coli found in sample from Sequim creamery that sells products across Western Washington, according to state

Officials found toxin-producing E. coli in the process of sampling raw cream from a Sequim-based business, according to the state Department of Agriculture.

Consumers should not drink raw Jersey cream, raw Jersey whole milk or raw Jersey skim milk from the Dungeness Valley Creamery, state officials said in a release today. Products with best by dates of 03/02 or later may be contaminated, according to the release.

The creamery’s website lists the following locations as places where its products are sold:

• Bainbridge Island: Real Foods; Pan D’Amore; Walt’s Lynwood Center Market

• Bothell: Tru Health

• Bremerton: CJ’s Evergreen
