Pierce County ferry riders in large vehicles should plan ahead for low tides from Tuesday through July 11.
Load restrictions will be in place on some ferry runs, and riders may be asked to wait until a later sailing.
The restrictions affect large vehicles, such as RV’s, commercial trucks or a vehicle towing a trailer, according to the Pierce County Ferry System.
It provides service between the Town of Steilacoom, Anderson Island and Ketron Island.
Ticket agents and ferry crews will be checking large vehicles and those towing trailers for sailings affected by low tides.
