Public Disclosure Commission filings: Puyallup campaign updates

After two Planning Commission members who are running for Puyallup City Council were criticized for their conduct, a heated political debate broke out at Tuesday’s regular council meeting. 

Part of that debate focused on contributions to competing candidates. Below is an updated list of all the Puyallup City Council candidates and their most recent financial records with the state Public Disclosure Commission.


John Hopkins* $5,100 (Personal contributions; Hopkins’ campaign is self-financed)

Corry Glucoft $200 (Donor Joan Cronk)


Steve Hastings** $0 (Self-financed: Doesn’t intend to raise more than $5,000 limit and therefore doesn’t have to file contributions.)

Heather Shadko** $450 (Donors include Rebecca Stahl, Leon and Janet Leonard, Diane and Bob Kastama)


Chris McNutt** $3,636 (Donors include Karen Hansen, Roger Knutson, Laurie Knutsen, Neil Van Lierop)
