A Puyallup man won $130,000 last week in Wednesday’s drawing of Hit 5, according to a press release.

The man, an anonymous winner, saw Thursday that someone in his area had won the jackpot. He checked his ticket after work Thursday evening, discovering the first set of numbers out of multiple entries matched the winning numbers 4-27-31-33-37.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the man said in the release. “I checked the numbers six more times after that.”

The winning ticket was sold at Fred Meyer on 17404 Meridian Avenue East. The retailer has sold the most winning tickets in Puyallup, according to the release. The store will receive a $1,300 selling bonus.
