Seattle police’s gun buyback program drew a large response Saturday. But don’t expect a weapons buyback soon in Pierce County from the Sheriff’s Department.

“We won’t be doing one anytime soon due to budget,” Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said Tuesday. “We can’t afford it and we want to look at the issues, successes and failures of others.”

If you want to sell a gun at fair market value, do so at a gun shop. If you want to get ripped off, do so at a “gift card” government event. Caveat venditor!

  3. How about a parking meter buyback program?

Hooray for the County NOT putting on a pointless political soap opera at taxpayer expense, only to benefit anti-gun drama queens.

Congrats to Seattle for hosting the states second largest gun show. There were deals to be had there!
