Clover Park School Board to gather Friday and Saturday for a retreat

The Clover Park School Board has scheduled a retreat for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11 and 12. Meeting times are 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The board will meet at the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Dr. S.W. in Lakewood, at 3 p.m. on Friday to begin a 60-minute tour of its schools at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Following the tour, the board will convene in the board room of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club, 13204 Country Club Dr. S.W., in Lakewood until approximately 9 p.m.

On Saturday, the board will reconvene at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club at 9 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m.

Topics for the retreat include review and evaluation of current district goals and initiatives and planning for the 2013-14 school year.
