The Bethel School Board will hold a special meeting Monday Dec. 10, beginning at 5 p.m., to interview applicants for an open seat on the board.

The five candidates for the position are Jennifer Barnstein, Rachel Bacon, Warren Smith, Deborah Jones and Kristin Larson.

Interviews will be conducted publicly. The board will then recess into a closed executive session to review the five candidates’ qualifications for appointment. The board is not expected to take action Monday.
