The Peninsula School District is soliciting letters of intent from residents who are interested in filling an unexpired term representing District 4. The vacancy occurred due to the resignation of Jill Uddenberg.

A rnap of the District 4 boundaries is available at the school district office. Or, click here.

The applicant must be a registered voter and a current resident of District 4. Whoever is appointed to fill the unexpired term would need to run for re-election in the November 2015 general election to retain the seat.

The district will accept letters of interest through 4 p.m. Nov. 2. The school board will conduct interviews of qualified applicants and make their appointment of a new member in public session.

Interested applicants should send a letter of interest and other pertinent information to the Peninsula School District office, addressed to the Board of Directors. Submit questions to Acting Superintendent Chuck Cuzzetto at cuzZettoc@psd401.net or 253-530-1002.
