The environmental group Friends of Pierce County is hosting a screening of the documentary “Urban Water: Sustainability in the Balance” at 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Tacoma’s Grand Cinema.
Jim Gawel, a University of Washington professor, wrote and produced the film. He’ll be on hand at the screening and will answer audience questions afterward, a news release said.
Tickets to the event are $20, including refreshments.
The theater is at 606 S. Fawcett Ave.
