The Washington Federation of State Employees/AFSCME this afternoon reached tentative agreement with the state of Washington on a new, two-year collective bargaining agreement for about 30,000 state workers in General Government state agencies. If ratified by the affected members and funded by the Legislature, it will go into effect July 1, 2013.

Negotiations on health care will continue.
