The Puyallup Fair has a new option for drivers who come to the grounds to pick up loved ones – a “cell phone waiting lot” at Third Street Southwest and Fourth Avenue Southwest, west of the Puyallup Library.

Drivers may park there for up to 30 minutes while waiting to pick up their fair-going family member or friend in the designated pick up zone on the corner of Ninth Avenue Southwest and Third Street Southwest, east of the Red Gate on the backside of the Grandstand, according to a fair news release.

The cell phone lot is open 6-11 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekends.

This year’s 17-day Puyallup Fair runs through Sept. 23 at the fairgrounds on the edge of downtown.
