Tacoma parents can check bus routes online

Tacoma parents looking for information about their Tacoma Public Schools bus routes can find it on the school district’s website, through a system called WebQuery.

Parents can learn their child’s bus stop, pick-up and drop-off times here.

From the home page, click on “For Parents” and “Bus Routes” for the 2012-2013 bus stop times and bus numbers.

You can enter an address and the program will show the school of attendance for that address, bus stop locations and bus times. It also will show school attendance area boundaries and the closest available bus stop.

If your child has been assigned to a school to participate in a special program – such as English Language Learner (ELL) or Self-contained Advanced Individual Learning (SAIL) – and the program is outside of the student’s attendance area, the bus stop will not display through the program. Please click on this link that will provide a listing of all stops at each school.

Keep in mind that during this time of the year, it is possible your bus route may change. So it is important to check WebQuery often. During the normal course of the school year, route changes take effect on Mondays and Thursdays.

If you have questions, please contact the Transportation Department 253-571-1853 or e-mail transportation@tacoma.k12.wa.us.
