Tacoma gets $1 million grant for bike and pedestrian lanes

The City of Tacoma has been awarded a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for bicycle and pedestrian improvements.

The grant will help fund a project designed to create a continuous 13-mile “active transportation corridor” across the city.
