Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is offering a half-off deal Friday for half-price as they prepare to close early for a fundraiser.

They will be open Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The zoo will be closing early so The Zoo Society can get ready for its annual fundraiser, Zoobilee.

General admission for adults will be $8; $7.50 for seniors 65 and over; $6.25 for kids 5-12; and $4.13 for 3-4 year olds.

Visitors on Friday will not be able to see the aquariums, Asian Forest Sanctuary, elephant exhibit and elephant barn. Those areas will be closed off for Zoobilee preparations.
