The Spring Fair in Puyallup is set for April 19-22.

It’ll feature traditional favorites, such as animals, a garden show, monster trucks and demolition derbies. Some new exhibits also are planned, including a racecar simulator and a hands-on rock music exhibit in which people can try out different instruments.

Kids ages 6-15 can enter their creative works – from baked goods to photography – in the Creative Kids Exhibit. The deadline to enter is April 9.

Each child who enters will receive a free gate ticket.

Admission is $9 at the gate for adults and $7 at the gate for students ages 6-18. There’s no admission fee for kids age 5 and younger. Some discounts are available.

There’s no charge for parking.

Many more details are on the Fair’s website.
