The event will be held in front of City Hall, 6000 Main St. S.W.

There will be a kiddie parade, free children’s crafts, holiday music, refreshments and a visit with Santa. To participate in the parade, children and those young at heart can meet near the old GI Joe’s building, 5831 Main St. SW, at 4:15 p.m. and march with Santa.

Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Emergency Food Network. Officials reminds folks to dress warm.
