The Puyallup School Board plans to start its meetings at 6 p.m. this academic year, a half-hour earlier than in the past.

The change takes effect Monday, when a regular meeting is scheduled at Ballou Junior High, 9916 136th St. E.

The board typically meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month at Ballou.
