For the fourth consecutive year, KBTC television has won an Emmy Award for an episode in the documentary series “Full Focus.”

Representatives from KBTC accepted their statuette at the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awards ceremony on June 11 in Snoqualmie.

The award-winning episode “Portraits of Fallen Heroes” is a half-hour documentary that features artist Michael Reagan, who has sketched more than 2,400 portraits free of charge for the families of fallen soldiers.

KBTC, owned and operated by Bates Technical College in Tacoma, has won eight Emmy Awards and has garnered 23 Emmy nominations since 2007. You can watch the entire “Full Focus” episode of “Portraits of Fallen Heroes” here.
