The Fife City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the panel for an unexpired term.
The person appointed by the council will serve on the City Council until the November 2011 general election results are certified.
The opening was created when council member Don Alveshere announced his resignation May 10 because he is moving outside of the Fife city limits. Alveshere was elected to a four-year term that expires at the end of 2013.
