Free help with 2010 federal taxes is available in Auburn through United Way for  low income households and seniors.

IRS-certificated, multilingual volunteers from United Way of King County will be available at Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main St., on the second floor. Agents are available Tuesday – Thursday from 6-9 p.m. No appointment is necessary and agents will be available through April 15.

The service is for households making less than $50,000. Citizenship is not necessary and electronic filling will be utilized for faster refunds.

Those interested should  bring all applicable tax forms and a bank account number (checking or savings) to have your refund directly deposited into your account.

Service is only for basic tax returns only (no business taxes, rental income or sale of property or stock). For more information on the United Way Tax Preparation Program call 206- 349-9337.
