The city is inviting residents to the 15th annual holiday festival on Friday.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main St. SW.

It includes a short parade from Starbuck’s to the front of City Hall, lighting of the Christmas tree, free children’s crafts, holiday music, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus. Children who tell Saint Nicholas what they want for Christmas receive a candy cane.

Residents are encouraged to dress warm. They are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to benefit the Emergency Food Network.

For more information, call Lakewood Parks and Recreation at 253-983-7887.
