A chainsaw carving championship in Pacific is proving to be a popular draw with its second competition approaching in July.

Already attracting some of the top carvers in the United States, this year’s field will be international with a carver from Belgium. Other carvers are coming from Massachusetts and New York as well as from throughout the Northwest.

The second annual White River Chainsaw Carving Championships will take place July 9-11 at Pacific City Park, 600 Third Ave. S.E. For more information, press here.
