Students in the advanced art class at Franklin Pierce High School are finalists in the Vans Custom Culture contest, which asked students to come up with original designs to decorate pairs of Vans sneakers.
About 20 Franklin Pierce students helped create the school’s winning designs. It earned them placement among the top five schools in the Northwest and among the top 20 in the U.S.
You can see their designs and vote for your favorite at http://vans.com/customculture/vote.html.If they’re chosen by online voters as one of the tops in the nation, the Franklin Pierce students could win a trip to California for the final judging. Voting deadline is one minute before midnight on Sunday.
