Tacoma wants help shaping historic preservation policy

Tacoma historic preservation officer Reuben McKnight has issued an invitation to a workshop to discuss the future of preservation in the city.

Here’s his note:

REMINDER: Don’t miss your opportunity to shape the future of the City of Tacoma’s Preservation Plan!

Are you interested in learning more about ways to protect the character of your neighborhood?
Are you a fan of Tacoma’s historic buildings?

Do you have opinions on the way the City should run its preservation program?

Do you own, manage, remodel or buy/sell historic buildings?

Do you have opinions about the role of historic preservation in the City’s future?

IF SO, WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU! Please come to the Historic Preservation Plan Community Workshop and share your thoughts, opinions, knowledge, and vision!

WHEN: 5:30 pm, Wednesday September 23
