Tide sticking with traditional yellow kits for 2011

Tacoma club also announces drive to recruit sponsors, pre-season match schedule

Tacoma WA — Tacoma Tide FC have selected adidas as their uniform maker for the 2011 USL Premier Development League season. Tacoma will wear the adidas Tiro II in their traditional home “Yellow,” with an alternate / away “Royal” (blue).

The kits will be supplied from a new Tide FC partner, Soccer City. Soccer City will soon have Tide jerseys and other gear available from their website store www.SoccerSaves.com.

Tide asks over 30 players back, including Bumpus

Tacoma, WA—Tacoma Tide FC of the Premier Development League (PDL) have asked over thirty players back after two open tryout sessions at Stadium Bowl on April 2 and April 3. During the sessions players fought to catch the attention of Head Coach Gerry Gray, Club Owner Mike Jennings and General Manager John Callaway. The atmosphere was professional and the competition was spirited. It took the full two tryout sessions and meetings that followed with Tide staff to decide which players would get a further look out of an initial group of nearly 60.
