Tacoma Tide FC begin their 2011 United Soccer Leagues PDL campaign this Friday May 13 with a 7 PM match against the North Sound SeaWolves at Stadium Bowl. In preparation for the opener the Tide announce the signing of thirteen players, pushing the Tacoma roster to twenty-two.Adam Bettencourt was a part of Tide Open Tryouts in early April. Today Tacoma Tide FC announce the return of key players on both offense and defense. Elliot Morton is a towering 6-4 defender from Tacoma and Seattle Pacific University. Cam Vickers is a diminutive 5-7 attacker from Auburn WA, and Sonoma State University.

Tacoma Tide Football Club today announce the return of two more players for the 2011 United Soccer Leagues PDL campaign. Local boys Chase Tangney and Daniel Gray will again bolster the Tacoma attack from the midfield.

Chase Tangney has been causing trouble for Tide opponents up and down the touchline since 2007 when he made his Tacoma PDL debut with four goals. In 2010 the 23 year old, five foot eight inch winger tied for team honors with four assists.

Tacoma club also announces drive to recruit sponsors, pre-season match schedule

Tacoma WA — Tacoma Tide FC have selected adidas as their uniform maker for the 2011 USL Premier Development League season. Tacoma will wear the adidas Tiro II in their traditional home “Yellow,” with an alternate / away “Royal” (blue).
