Sounders U-23 partner with Farrelli’s Pizza

The Sounders FC U-23 have announced a partnership with Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza for their official post game destination. Following each Sounders U-23 home match, the team and staff invite fans and friends to join them at the closest Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza location for food and drinks.

Sounders U-23 – Community Partners

SoundersU23.com – Home is where the heart is.  With this in mind, the Sounders FC U-23 has been blessed with three homes for the 2012 PDL season; Franklin Pierce HS, Cheney Stadium, and Tumwater HS.  The team has been fortunate to partner with the local soccer community, including Franklin Pierce Soccer Club and Black Hills Football Club for the Franklin Pierce and Tumwater HS games.  These organizations are working extremely hard behind the scenes to help promote the Sounders FC U-23. Sounders U-23s Award Youth State Champs

Tacoma, WA. – On Sunday, May 6th, the US Youth Soccer Washington State Championships were played at Starfire Sports. After the battles were finished on the field, the celebration of the athlete’s efforts commenced with the help of the Sounders FC U-23. Sounders FC U-23 players, Darwin Jones and Jamael Cox, along with “The Voice of the Sounders FC U-23s”, Jon Billings, conducted the awards ceremony.

Sounders-U23 sign five from UW

SoundersU23.com – The Sounders FC U-23 have announced the signing of five players who currently play for the University of Washington.  Defenders, Taylor Peay, Mike Uyehara, and Chris Brundage will offer defensive options for the Sounders U-23. Ryan Herman, a transfer from Santa Clara will work for time behind them in net. The fifth signing, Bradley McIntosh, is a recent transfer from UCLA. McIntosh was a midfield stand out growing up in Redmond, Washington.

Sounders Women, May 4 Match SOLD OUT

Added Seats Going on Sale April 26 @ 3pm

SoundersWomen.com – The Sounders Women have sold out the May 4 match against the University of Washington. The original stadium capacity for the Starfire Stadium of 4,500 has been sold out for more than three weeks prior to kickoff.

In order to accommodate the increasing request for additional tickets, the Sounders Women will be adding a limited number of Bleacher Seating Tickets for the May 4, 7:30pm match. The additional number of tickets will go on sale at 3pm on Thursday, April 26th on SoundersWomen.com.

College Stars Return Home – Sounders U23

SoundersU23.com – Three college stars return to Seattle to sign with the Seattle Sounders FC U23’s for the 2012 season. Puget Sound area high school alums, Fernando Monge, Chase Hanson, and Doug Herrick add to the Sounders U23 roster for their PDL campaign.

Fernando Monge comes to the Sounders U23 after nearly winning the NCAA National Championship with UCLA. The Eastside Catholic High School alum played every minute of the National Semi-final in which UCLA lost in a shootout to North Carolina.

In the 2011 campaign, Monge played in all 24 games for UCLA. He helped the Pac 12 …
