Sounders U23 1 – 0 WA Crossfire

Redmond, WA – The Sounders U-23 got a late game winner from Aodhan Quinn to take a 1-0 victory over the Washington Crossfire.

The match was a back and fourth game that was physical in nature. The Sounders U-23 had opportunities early but were unable to find the back of the net.

Sounders U-23 5-0 North Sound SeaWolves

Edmonds, Wa. – The Sounders U-23 defeated the North Sound SeaWolves FC Friday night 5-0 in an impressive performance. Goals by five different Sounders U-23s, paired with solid play at the back, helped earn the victory.

Much of the match was played in the SeaWolves defensive third as the Sounders U-23 dominated possession. SeaWolves goalkeeper, Claudio Lazar was the busiest man of the match, facing 10 shots from Sounders U-23 attackers.

Match day: Sounders U-23 vs Vancouver

Tacoma, WA – The Sounders U-23 return home to Tacoma tonight for a showdown with the Vancouver Whitecaps U-23 at 6:00 p.m. at Cheney Stadium. Before the match, fans will be able to meet and get autographs from players who play for the Sounders Women, including U.S. National Team star, Megan Rapinoe.

The Sounders U-23 and Vancouver Whitecaps find each other separated by just one point in the PDL Northwest Division standings with the Sounders U-23 in 3rd place with eight points and the Whitecaps U-23 in 4th with seven.

Meet Sounders Women at U-23 game at Cheney

SoundersU23.com For fans that were unable to get a ticket to the sold out Sounders FC Open Cup match on Wednesday night, there is still a Sounders event to enjoy. The Seattle Sounders FC U-23 and Sounders Women have partnered a historic soccer event on May 30 at Cheney Stadium. Sounders Women Add Elite College Stars

SoundersWomen.com - The Sounders Women have signed four college standouts for the 2012 W-League campaign. The Sounders add two University of Washington Huskies, a Wisconsin Badger, and an Alabama Crimson Tide. The signees are all defensive minded, with three playing in the back and the forth; a goal keeper. The defenders are Annie Sittauer (Washington), Lindsey Johnson (Wisconsin), and Ashley Willis (Alabama). The goalkeeper is Megan Kufeld (Washington).
