Edmonds, Wa. – The Sounders U-23 defeated the North Sound SeaWolves FC Friday night 5-0 in an impressive performance. Goals by five different Sounders U-23s, paired with solid play at the back, helped earn the victory.

Much of the match was played in the SeaWolves defensive third as the Sounders U-23 dominated possession. SeaWolves goalkeeper, Claudio Lazar was the busiest man of the match, facing 10 shots from Sounders U-23 attackers.

Tacoma, WA – The Sounders U-23 return home to Tacoma tonight for a showdown with the Vancouver Whitecaps U-23 at 6:00 p.m. at Cheney Stadium. Before the match, fans will be able to meet and get autographs from players who play for the Sounders Women, including U.S. National Team star, Megan Rapinoe.

The Sounders add two University of Washington Huskies, a Wisconsin Badger, and an Alabama Crimson Tide. The signees are all defensive minded, with three playing in the back and the forth; a goal keeper.
