SoundersU23.com – The Sounders U23 continue to construct their roster for the 2012 PDL Season with the signing of Aodhan Quinn from the University of Akron, Anthony Arena from Wake Forest University, and local talent from Puyallup; Mark Lee.

The three signings add elite level talent to the Sounders U23. Quinn and Arena are integral parts of national soccer powerhouses; Akron and Wake Forest. Mark Lee comes to the Sounders U23 after a PDL National Championship with the Kitsap Pumas and discussions with various MLS clubs.

SoundersU23.com – The Seattle Sounders FC U-23 will hold a special Pre-Game Goal Scoring Clinic before six of their home matches this season. Kids will have the chance to learn how to be better goal scorers or shot stoppers from former Sounders FC player, and current Sounders FC U-23 coach, Ben Dragavon.

SoundersU23.com – On Wednesday, the Sounders FC play the 2^nd leg of their Champions League Quarterfinal in Mexico. Doyle’s Public House, a soccer bar in Tacoma will offer a fun environment for South Sound fans to enjoy the match. The Sounders U-23 have partnered with Doyle’s for the event.

The viewing party will include Sounders FC prizes including gear and tickets for the U-23 season. Fans will also have a chance to visit Sounders U-23 staff including Darren Sawatzky, the head coach of the Sounders U-23 and Director of Sounders FC Youth Development.

Forty thousand of these armbands will be given out at the Sounders-San Jose game Saturday, as part of the honoring of captain/keeper Kasey Keller‘s final regular-season home game before his retirement.

If you want one, you might want to arrive at least kind of early, as ticket sales have clicked over 58,000.
