U-23s Pick Up 4 points from Opening Weekend in Canada – The Sounders FC U-23 picked up four points in their opening weekend of the PDL season. The Sounders played Friday and Saturday night in Canada. With most of the team arriving in the Puget Sound just a few days prior to the trip, the Sounders U-23 quickly organized themselves for a win and a tie on their travels.

College Stars Return Home – Sounders U23 – Three college stars return to Seattle to sign with the Seattle Sounders FC U23’s for the 2012 season. Puget Sound area high school alums, Fernando Monge, Chase Hanson, and Doug Herrick add to the Sounders U23 roster for their PDL campaign.

Fernando Monge comes to the Sounders U23 after nearly winning the NCAA National Championship with UCLA. The Eastside Catholic High School alum played every minute of the National Semi-final in which UCLA lost in a shootout to North Carolina.
