Tide’s Daniel Gray Sit Down for Interview

Local product and Tide midfielder shares his past, present, and future.

Soccer has been in the bloodlines of Tacoma Tide FC midfielder Daniel Gray for some time.

His dad, Gerry, played 13 seasons for Team Canada and in 2001 was enshrined in The Soccer Hall of Fame and now mans the sideline in Tacoma as the Tide FC’s head coach.

Now it’s Daniel’s turn to play under the spotlight after playing at Bellarmine Prep and Crossfire Premier, he’s playing collegiately for the Mustangs at Cal Poly and the Tide FC this summer.

Tide Return Home from Portland Without Points

May 18 – Portland, OR - The Tacoma Tide FC fought through travel, pounding rain, and an unorthodox start time to within grasp of a road point in Portland, but were unable to seize the moment. Due to a kids’ day at PGE Park, the Tide vs Timbers U-23 match was moved to 11am. This made for an early morning of travel and preparation down I-5. It would all have been worth it if points were brought home, but the Tide fell short.
