Here’s some of what Sounders’ midfielder and captain Mauro Rosales had to say tonight after the 4-1 loss to Vancouver:

“We’re just upset about the result. It can’t happen again, two in a row. Not in that way. It’s unacceptable. You have to keep fighting. We have to stay alive in everything that we have to accomplish. We still have to make the points to qualify. We have to be first in the conference. We can do it. The team has to step up, the character of the team has to step up and just be the guys that we were the past games. … very disappointed. I feel sorry for the fans … as always they are supporting us, and we coudlnt’ get them what the need and what they deserved today: the Cascadia Cup. We’re disappointed, but we have to move forward.”
